Hi, I’m Amber.
I’m a mom, wife, leader, nutrition educator — and a former chronic dieter.

For years, nutrition felt like a constant struggle. I grew up surrounded by diet culture messaging and assumed that battling my body, restricting food, and relying on willpower was just “normal.”

​​

It wasn’t.

​

Despite being deeply involved in fitness, I spent nearly a decade under-eating and cycling through every fad diet imaginable.

​

Story

​I trained hard.
I tried to eat “clean.”
I followed the rules.

​

And yet I was over-training, under-fueling, and constantly frustrated by the lack of progress.

​

​During the week it was kale, almonds, and lettuce-wrapped veggie burgers. By the weekend, I was sore, exhausted, and overeating cookies and peanut butter. I thought I was doing everything right — but my all-or-nothing mindset was holding me back.

​

In 2014, I decided to truly learn how my metabolism works.

I studied nutrition, behavior change, and habit formation. I worked with my own nutrition coach and began using macro tracking as a temporary educational tool — not a lifelong rule.

​

For the first time, nutrition made sense. Progress lasted. I learned how to fuel my body in a way that supported both performance and health.

​

That experience changed everything.

Nothing is more fulfilling than showing clients that progress doesn’t require restriction, misery, or fighting their body.
